It's official
Today we received our Gold cards that signify permanent residence status...well, permanent until we need a renewal in two years. This is very good news! We were at our limit for days to be in the country and if the cards hadn't come, we would have had to do a 'visa run' to Thailand for 3 days and then re-enter. The Gold card also provides us with discounts to various attractions. We are excited to be finished with this part of the process for working overseas and are thankful to the Lord for help in these matters.

While I am very excited for and sense your elation that the paper work is done for a while...I feel twinge of sadness that you might never return to good old Saskatchewan!!! With that in mind we should set up a time to see if we can get talking over Skype...I think I am ready at this end. Love to all..hope things are going well and I imagine you are in the thick of getting student back into a routine...
