More wildlife

We have geckos, rats, snakes and now....we have discovered a monitor lizard on our back porch living in one of the drains! It stuck its head and beady eyes out at Tim and then flashed its forked tongue before retreating into the pipe. Apparently they eat small rodents so perhaps that is why we haven't heard from our rat lately. It isn't dangerous; if anything, he's probably far more afraid of us than we are of him. Just another one of the creatures we need to co-exist with on this island.
