The week that was

Sabrina's first piano recital - she did very well despite the nerves and was cheered on by her dorm brothers and sisters.Laurian, Mary and Sophie had their first band concert. With only three months on their instruments, the whole beginning band did very well.

Two of the cutest audience members at the concert!

The boys love having fun chasing each other. Here we have the pillow chase - high schoolers against the younger boys. While the HSer's won the chase, the little guys put up a valiant effort.

We did the unthinkable and made everyone get up early one morning to get breakfast at the market. Usually Uncle Tim goes with a couple boys and brings back the order list for everyone else. Notice the grumpy looks on the girls' faces....
the boys however, loved it and ate their share of wan tan mee, chinese pancakes and roti with dahl.

These three are waiting for morning prayer before school starts. Annie and Alan are in the regular uniform shirts. Kaleb is wearing the coveted 'senior' shirt - bright purple this year.
Crazy Annie Mae!
Fun loving Kaleb!
Senior treat at our dorm this week was barbecued beef by Kaleb and garlic bread by Abbie. Sheena is trying her hand at cup stacking.
And Aunt Lana and Tim are trying to beat the No Brainer computer.

Christmas banquet fun.....
Annie after hair and make-up before getting dressedBrother/sister combo after getting all dressed up!

Renata and Kirk - his tie was a perfect match to her dress!

Santi and friends waiting for their dates to arrive.
Alan, Diana, George and Abbie - all looking so good!
Kaleb and Bethany, his good friend and date for the night.

I feel like I was able to catch up with friends after reading your posts for the last while.
Beautiful pictures - Annie, you are so grown up and BEAUTIFUL! Kaleb's haircut is great, way to go Lana!
Pace yourselves, if that is possible and enjoy the rest of the advent season!

Thanks for catching us up Shauna. Don't the kids all look wonderful dressed up for the banquet. When does the holiday break begin? Do you have plans for break yet?
