Saturday stuff

* Renata's dad arrived here yesterday. He's staying at the hospital with her and is now in charge of her medical care. We are waiting for some test results early next week that will hopefully give us more information.
* Along with two other sponsors, I went on the overnight leadership retreat with the jr class executive (plus sr class exec, student council and their sponsors). It was time well spent learning about and discussing leadership, time managements and goal setting. We also managed to have some fun on the climbing wall and zipline, too.
* The seniors snuck away last night at 10 pm for their class trip!!! This means junior class needs to kick into high gear planning our After Sneak Dinner, which will now take place on Thursday evening. We have an outstanding group of students to work with and about 35 out of 41 showed up early this morning to put in an eight hour work day getting all the decorations ready plus putting together the evening's program. The theme is a secret so you will have to wait for the pictures to be posted next week....
* So the Senior Sneak means that Kaleb, Abbie and Theo are all away for the next five days, enjoying themselves and their classmates on some beach :) Kaleb had enough spending money to help rent a fishing boat with some of his Korean friends so I'll be anxious to hear how that goes for them.
* This is Merdeka weekend - independence day for Malaysia - so the students have Monday off from school. Hopefully we can do something fun on campus to keep them busy and entertained since the traffic will be insane.

Here are some great faces of Chandler dorm:
