Yes I'm alive!

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. Actually I've taken a bit of a 'fast' from blogging and facebooking lately which is a good thing. We enjoyed wonderful, uneventful flights back to Canada and were greeted by family and chilly weather. After a couple days rest, we packed my dad's car and headed to the US to visit Tim's family for 10 days. We saw all 20 of his family plus many other friends. It was a great time of rest but again the weather didn't fully cooperate until we were ready to leave! Back in Saskatchewan, we picked up Kaleb's car which was given to him by his former youth pastor for $1. He has dubbed it 'Delilah' - a 1976 Nova with a serious case of skin cancer (aka rust), an amazing stereo and 5 extra tires. At the lake, he and Tim have been working on it for the past couple of days in between our work on the cottage, ripping up carpet and sweeping cobwebs. This weekend we are in Lumsden enjoying the company of good friends and eating wonderful food. Again, the weather is NOT cooperating with our plans - its freezing cold outside and I'm in several layers and Tim has on flannel-lined jeans!!! Apparently its supposed to get warm tomorrow....I'll believe it when it happens.

Soooooooooo wonderful to hear from you. I am off to the lake tomorrow with Piper & Luke in tow. Will finish painting the bathroom and do some work on the new one if I have the chance. We are also going to build a stone campfire ring at the boathouse for a weiner & marshmallow roast. Home on Sunday...work on Monday. Did you think you book me in at the hotel for the 18th & 19th Fri & Sat nite?? more later....Love to you all and yes I am freezing too!!

So good to hear from you via blogging. If I could do something about the weather, I would. I guess I'll just say, you know...it could be worse!!!

Glad to hear you're here safe and sound.

34C isn't warm enough, hey? You really have lost your roots. ;)

Is there anything you guys need that we can bring to the lake when we come? If there is anything you are hoping to take back, I'd be happy to help.

We need to see pictures of Kaleb and Delialah. Tim's Nova was a '72?? I suspect this one has more miles on it than his.
