Life at Chandler

Sorry about the lack of blogging...don't know where time goes these days. Anyway, here are some pics from the past week of activities and fun times.

Our Swiss Miss turned 18 so we celebrated with rocky road cheesecake and gifts on Sunday night. Her final party is today so its been a long, drawn out celebration!

Tim was asked to participate in the filming of a Malaysian commercial to be shown in the US. He, another teacher and an expat mom spent half a day on the mainland filming. He had to take different suits with different shirts and ties so we borrowed to make do. Tim really enjoyed his day, learned lots about the Malaysian film industry and would gladly do this again.

Softball fever is catching on in our dorm. The kids sat out one night on the porch throwing and catching and just generally being crazy. It was all great until SMASH! Kaleb's bedroom window was broken and we did a patch job with some cardboard so he could turn on the air con for the night. All was good again the next day after the maintenance guys fixed the window to be as good as new.

At the end of our Spiritual Emphasis Week, the newly refurbished Student Centre had a grand opening. Lots of pizza and ice cream were consumed despite it being a cool, overcast evening.

Kaleb purchased the expansion pack to his friend's game so now 8 people can play although one game can potentially take up to 6 hours!! The guys had lots of fun Friday night, learning the rules and trying to take over the world :)
