Artwork

At the silent auction held during MEW, I purchased four of 40 pencil drawings of children from the Compassion International website who are waiting to be adopted. In the end, I got eight of the pictures, done by a senior girl from Korea who is hoping to study art in the US.

I also purchased this piece entitled "Desert of Flowers" by the sister of Kaleb's best friend who is from Australia. It is a layered piece (gouache on paper) with a cut-out top and was inspired by Galatians 5:1 "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourself be burdened again by a yoke of slavery."
