Weekend activities

On Thursday, Annie became the JV girl's
soccer team goalie when the coach came knocking on our door. With only one short practice, she donned the heavy, padded outfit for play in a weekend tournament. She did well and had lots of encouragement from the crowd. This is the linesman, giving her pointers at half time on how to defend the key. We are very proud of her "can do!" attitude :)

Something in our cupboards attracted a hoard of ants - nothing that Raid drops won't take care of!

The school dress code states that boys must not have their hair touching their shirt collar. If so, they may receive a violation which could lead to a detention work day. So Santi is being proactive and getting a free haircut from his dorm sister.

We already had one hanging chair that I bought last year on the mainland. Two more (with footrests!) were given to us so Tim headed to the hardware store for chains to hang them side by side on the porch. The only time they aren't occupied is when everyone is sleeping!
