Sunday potpourri

  • In the 48 hours I've been on Malaysian soil, I've managed to consume 5 fresh lime juices at two different restaurants. I've also eaten chapati rolls, vegetable fried rice, kashmir naan and chicken satay. I finally bought some groceries today so we have something in our own fridge.
  • Our landline phones aren't working .... hopefully the IT guy can help us tomorrow.
  • Weather is great - quite cool by Malaysian standards.
  • Annie is battling a brutal case of jetlag.
  • Nellie dropped by yesterday with fresh baked bread. All year she kept us stocked and we love her for it!
  • The 'to do' list is getting longer all the time with the things I hope to accomplish before our kids arrive.
  • I drove today for the first time since arriving back - it feels more natural to be on the left side of the road! Isn't that weird?

I'm glad to know you are readjusting to your adopted country. Keep the blogs coming! We love you.

It is weird to be more comfortable driving on the left. Did Kaleb get some driving in while he was in Canada?

Hope you guys are safe and unscathed after the Indonesian earthquake. Feel any tremors where you are?
