More blessings

A friend sent these thoughtful words from 2 Thessalonians 2 in response to our prayer email that went out today about ending well:

STAND FIRM
15-17 So, friends, take a firm stand, feet on the ground and head high. Keep a tight grip on what you were taught, whether in personal conversation or by our letter. May Jesus himself and God our Father, who reached out in love and surprised you with gifts of unending help and confidence, put a fresh heart in you, invigorate your work, enliven your speech.

Another friend, one of the strongest, most persistent prayer warriors I know of, has been keeping Kaleb and his needs before the Lord. And other emails mention people praying for us, being concerned about our needs, asking if they can help our ministry.

Its a very humbling thing to have people partner with us through prayer and other means. I mean really, seriously humbling. At this time of the year, when all we have worked for - to graduate and send off students, hopefully better equipped aademically, spiritually and emotionally than they were before they came - is scrutinized, I realize that what we did accomplish in our students' lives (and what is yet to be revealed), has more to do with the prayers of friends and family and less to do with our 'amazing' talents than I often like to think.

Thank you....from very grateful, humble hearts.
