Pearl Hill run

I'm running Pearl Hill in intervals - Tim walks behind or bikes ahead. The view from the top is outstanding. We usually take a quick break at the Buddhist temple/Fatty Loh restaurant at the top before heading down. The peninsula above is excavated soil from a building project. In the top right hand corner is Rat Island, which we kayak out to often.
These are the four 40 storey complexes a block over from the school that have been under construction for nearly three years. Only $450,000 CDN buys you one whole floor.
The Chinese New Year's lanterns hanging in the temple.
The Buddhist shrine in the centre of the restaurant. One sign on the wall says, "Please do not eat meat with prayers on Friday". Not sure what that means!!
