Yesterday Tim went along as a parent helper and driver for Annie's grade 7 hike. They went out east past Batu Ferringhi to a place known here as "The End of the World" because the road ends at a little fishing village. They hiked up 800 ft above sea level to the top of the some mountain and then went down the other side to explore. Along the beachfront is the place where, at certain times of the year, turtles will come to lay their eggs in the sand. There is a lot more out that way to be seen and explored so we think we'll plan to do that over our Christmas break.

Good for Tim and Annie. It sounds like it was fun and an interesting place to go to.
