The force of nature

Yesterday we had a tremendous tropical storm brew up out on the ocean and come crashing inland. It brought high winds that blew the trees sideways and torrential rain that poured down for about an hour. Lots of kids played outside in the pouring rain until the wind got too fierce. Annie and Abbie ran up and down the campus streets in their bare feet, getting soaked to the bone and then used the rain coming off the roof as a shower!! Afterwards, the clouds broke away, steam rose off the hills and the ocean turned a beautiful blue.

It was awesome to see the force of nature at work and be reminded of God's soveriegnty over all things.
