Limerick Day

Happy International Limerick Day! Here's my offerings:

There once was a family of four
The world they wished to explore
From Canada they flew
Over the bright yonder blue
To Penang, north of Kuala Lumpur

Across the centre of Annie Mae's face
The freckles, they all love to race
Under the bright sun
They run and they run
To her ears, chin, all over the place!

Kaleb's a boy of fifteen
Or should I say man? maybe teen?
He's driving the van
Gets the trash to the can
And sleeps most of the time in between

They say Tim is quiet and shy
The reserved type with lots on his mind
But Shauna's a talker
Sometimes they can't stop her
So together they get along fine
