Random musings

• 94 years ago yesterday the Titanic sank.
• Two months from today we have to be out of our house. Tim and Peter are taking a trip to the cabin this week to set up the new shed and bring home some of the old furniture to sell at our yard sale.
• Coverage for the Boston Marathon begins tomorrow morning at 9:30 am CST on OLN - we're cheering for #8289 Doug Hynne.
• I'm surfing Kraft for a recipe for Friday night's youth party that ends at our house. Lots of good things with ingredients like artichokes and asparagus which I love but I think I had better lean towards something with chocolate instead.
• Speaking of food, we decided to try Tim on the Eat Right for Your Blood Type diet. There are a lot of things he won't be able to eat that he loves (such as gluten carbs and Coke) but the list of things he can eat is fairly substantial. We'll see how this works especially since he's supposed to eat lots of beef and I don't really like it!
• Bayley, our Boston Terrier friend, is here for a few days again and Tim continues to call her Lola, even though our Lola has been gone over two years now. Funny how something sticks in your head like that. Bayley, to her credit, has taken it well - she just cocks her head and gives Tim a strange look.
