What to say? pt 2

Tonight, after sitting with one of our students helping her grieve and process, I got a very special phone call. Another girl who spent two years with us and graduated last June, called after hearing the news of our mutual friend. She was worried about us and wanted to see how we were. I can't tell you how much this meant to me (and Tim as well although he wasn't able to chat with her). To think that an 18 year old, who we love dearly and miss deeply, would care enough to call long distance is beyond me right now. She made a simple but thoughtful choice to honor others and offer kindness to us.

We are so proud of you, our beautiful little Swiss Miss. We love you with all our hearts.

Sounds like a difficult time. God's grace is indeed so amazing, always sufficient. Too many people think sufficient is a word that is, well, adequate, only just good enough. But in these moments, of pain, uncertainty and bewilderment, may you know afresh the grace of God that is enough to get you through...
Praying for you all.
