Christmas party fun

We had our Christmas party last night - barrels of fun, loads of laughter and a ton of food! We ate a huge feast of lasagna, garlic bread and veggies to begin the festivities. Before opening stockings, we played some games. In everyone's stocking we had put a can of silly string so we all headed outside for the 'war'!! After more games, the kids opened their secret Santa gifts to each other and then we gave them our gifts - a new Chandler dorm t-shirt plus gift certificates to Chili's restaurant. Although traffic was heavy, we made our way down into Georgetown for dessert - 3 foot high roti tisu! After coming home, we got out the Christmas baking and popped popcorn to watch Home Alone together.

Kaleb got a beautiful tie from his favorite little brother Laurian and Annie got handphone accessories and a candle from Alan.

Marigan gave us a lovely Christmas cross stitch picture of a moose - very Canadian!!

The new t-shirts are in the fashion of the Coke slogan - the front says "Enjoy Chandler" and the back says "This ad for Chandler dorm proudly sponsored by the following" and then lists all the student's names.

The four 3 ft high roti tisu, covered in honey and sweetened condensed milk, were consumed within minutes of getting to the table.
