Sadie

Yesterday, on our way to church, we saw this little puppy out on the street a few blocks from the school. Then before supper, as Annie and another girl were coming home from a friend's house, this little pup followed them all the way to campus and wouldn't leave them. It grew dark and I tried taking the dog back out to the street in hopes that it might catch a scent of home but no such luck. Annie and some girls made posters with her picture and the school phone number on them and put them up outside the school. We dubbed her Sadie and being exhausted, she fell asleep on a pillow Annie laid out for her. All was good til about 4 a.m. when she began to whine. I got up and took her outside for a walk. Coming back in I discovered little gifts in the lounge!! Sadie continued to whine so Annie got up and slept with her. Today she has slept off and on by my feet or under our bed. She often gets caught between our feet when we are walking and she certainly isn't trained to go outside, we have sadly discovered! Tonight we have to make a quick trip to the store for more dog food and tomorrow I'll start calling vets in the area to see if they recognize her cute little face. If not, I think Sadie has found a permanent home in Chandler dorm. Any guesses as to what breed(s) she could be?

What a sweet little dog! Her face and ears look like a Mexican Chihauhau but her body looks a little too big so she's a mixure of something else! I hope you can get her house broken QUICK!

Hasn't Annie been wanting a puppy? Are you SURE she put the right phone # on the posters? : )
Looks like you have a new family member.

Oh my...how happy are you Annie? I agree it looks like a Chihuahau mix...and she is very cute. Get an alarm clock to put in a dog crate with her. She will go to sleep listening to the tick tock...also she won't make a mess in her home!!! I think Chandler Dorm would be a wonderful home for a stray! Congrats on the new family member.

You will have to get a book (quick ways to train a dog.
He is kind of a cute little thing. It will all work out.
