When the rainstorm axed our plan for a beach bonfire, Tim was not to be stopped. He found a barrel cut in half, raided the shop's scrap wood pile and voila! a bonfire on our porch!! The s'mores tasted great :) Kaleb whittled away while the others roasted marshmallows. Homework projects often take up a lot of space! Annie plays flute in the Intermediate band. This was their first concert of the year. The sophomores held a 'van wash' on the street in front of Chandler dorm. Unfortunately the soccer team had our van off campus that day.
What a lot of activities! I think I'm busy, then I read what all you're doing... I love your pictures. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on your life in Malaysia.
I'm living a dream on the beach in SE Asia with my best friend, a guy named Tim who I've been married to for 22 years, and our two awesome teenagers. We are dorm parents to 9 other students, better known as Third Culture Kids, who hail from America, Canada, Cambodia, Thailand, England and Australia. We love it here - the sticky humidity, barking geckos, fresh fruit, naan bread, amazing people and breathtaking scenery.
