* Rain, rain, go away.....OK, I know its the rainy season but really!! It started raining Monday afternoon, cancelling after school sports practices and continued through the evening. It stopped and Tuesday morning, Tim and I climbed the hill, although with the 90% humidity, I needed windshielder wipers on my glasses. Early Tuesday afternoon, it began to sprinkle and pour alternately all day, all night and all of today (Wednesday). It poured so hard this morning before school that we couldn't see across campus. Another downpour just like that came again this afternoon as school was letting out and I was on my way to staff meeting. Our campus is deluged with water standing everywhere and with the black clouds looming in the sky, I don't think we're done yet with the wet weather. It feels cool out at 26C - we're all wearing sweaters and Annie has even taken to wearing a toque!!
* Speaking of Annie, she's been home the last two days sick with a cold. And since she's such a good friend, she shared it with Ben who spent the afternoon in the infirmary.
* The girls are practicing Christmas carols for choir and working on their harmony. Sounds funny to hear Christmas tunes but then again, its only two months away! Our ensemble, including Naomi and Marigan, has been asked to sing a couple numbers at the Disney Magic Show on Nov 3.
* 8 sleeps til we fly to Kota Kinabalu for our break!!
* A huge bowl of taco salad is on the menu for treat tonight and everyone is anxious to get started so I must go for now.
