The return to Penang Hill

Its a long weekend for our school so seven of our students have gone to visit family. Those of our students left here on campus plus four other young fellows from another dorm came with us today up Penang Hill to run around and wear off some energy. The wonderful thing about being 700 m above sea level here in Malaysia is that the temperature drops and you actually feel cool in the middle of the afternoon, much more like a Saskatchewan summer day! Last time we were there, we had pit vipers above our heads as we ate lunch. This time we saw these HUGE spiders, about the size of an outstretched hand, making webs between the trees. And as we were waiting in the upper station to leave, a monkey decided to sit on the light above our heads and stare at us. Riding the trolley car up, shoved in a small cubicle with at least 18 other people.
At a stop along the way, thumb wars!!
Help I'm stuck in the tube!

Boy! What a life. Excitement, Thrills, Mystery, Romance, Well, some people love snakes, spiders and other creepy crawling creatures. That reminds me of, "Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh my!" A line from a famous movie. Anyway, keep up the good blog and keep encouraged. Sounds like you and Tim have found your niche. And, God is using you two well.
