Dorm team news

We received news today that the dorm mom on our team who had cancer surgery last week will need radiation and chemotherapy due to cancer found in the lymph nodes. Treatments, which will last about 4 months, begin in six weeks. This is difficult news for her and her family as well as our dorm team.

Thanks to all who have been praying for this concern. We ask that you would continue to uphold this situation before the Father, asking for peace, comfort, practical assistance and tangible expressions of love. The doctor is confident the treatments can be successful so please ask boldly for healing from whatever avenues God would choose. Pray for our team to be able to carry the extra load and not grow weary. Pray for the students in this particular dorm as their faith is stretched through this crisis.

PSALM 103
2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-
3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
