I will post a few pictures of the events of the Thaipusum festival that Tim saw earlier this week. The one picture shows the man with over 40 apples hung to his back from hooks. I won't show the pictures of those who's faces were skewered. Tim found it very disturbing and heart-wrenching, all the pain and agony these people put themselves through when God's grace is free and unconditional and only requires that we just come as we are.
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. JOhn 3:16

I don't know why I was one to hear about Jesus and to believe, but I'm so glad.
