Jerejak Resort

For our staff retreat, we went to Jerejak Resort, another island just a short 10 minute ferry ride away. It was a gorgeous location with excellent activities such as climbing wall, zipline, pool, archery and paintball. Tim and I rented mountain bikes and, along with Scott, biked up some pretty steep hills. We even rode across the suspension bridge - that was a rush!! Tim and Scott continued on without me around the island to the old prison site.

The retreat itself was really an advance - an advance in understanding our role as disciplers of the next generation, an advance in learning about one another and appreciating each staff member, an advance in our relationship with the Lord. Our guest speaker, Dr Jeff Myers of Tennessee, has an interesting ministry of leadership development called Passing the Baton.
He was insightful and challenging and left us all with much to ponder.
