Yesterday I went to the finance office to speak with Mrs Lee, one of the Malaysian ladies who works there. When I was leaving through the back entrance, I noticed a small little creature on the floor in the middle of the doorway. It was gray, about 1 inch or so in length with a long tail. It looked like the little voles we had at Arlington Beach. I called Mrs Lee to come and see it. She smiled and said the dreaded words, "Baby rat!". I said I thought we should somehow humanely kill it but I had no way of doing that. Mrs Lee nodded enthusiastically and said, "Its so cute!" Then she asked if I wanted a pet! She was smiling at the time so I hope she was just joking.
We couldn't think of anything to do with it so we decided to "live and let live", although I know this baby rat will grow up to become a big rat that will eventually find its way to a dorm!! Then I promptly left through the front door :)

Cute story too!! Maybe it won't take up residence in your dorm!! We can always pray for it to find a nice out of doors home that it will enjoy!!
