Less than 3 days until the dorms open and kids start arriving back to campus. The majority of our students will come on Monday, especially all the Cambodia kids who have only one option for a flight. They arrive Monday just after supper. This time, we will be right in the thick of things, hugging our students, welcoming them back and helping with lugguage as opposed to last semester when we didn't know a soul and just stood there watching. That will be very nice.
We do have a new student coming to Chandler dorm - a fifth grade American boy who has lived most recently in Africa. That will put a new spin on things in our dorm! Can't wait to meet him and have him become a part of the family.
We have a huge list of things to do, things I thought I would accomplish earlier in the break but for whatever reason (OK, most likely procrastination) I have not yet done. I've always worked well under pressure so this time will be no different. Whatever we don't get done will just have to wait for another time. Next week, we are busy during the day at a conference for Canadian missionaries and we don't get a regular day off til January 30. So we'll be running like crazy, loving it all and exhausted by the end.

I feel your excitment in having the students return and getting a new boy. That's great!
