Annie got up very early with us this morning, something like 4:30 am, to see our Cambodia crew off to the airport. Since her best friend, Beth, was leaving at 5:45 am, Annie decided to stay up and hop in the van to the airport with the Vietnam/Laos crew to be with Beth right til the last minute. Tim did the 8 am run with the Thailand group.
Even with due diligence by those on staff who take care of visas and passports, several kids had problems getting through immigration, some missed their original flights and others aren't guaranteed full passage to their destinations. Also one girl is stuck in Vienna tonight because of the bad weather in Sarajevo. Such is the life of those who travel internationally!
