Concert

Tonight the October concert was held in the chapel. The Intermediate, Jazz and Senior bands performed as did the MS ensemble and HS choir. It was a hour of great music.

Kaleb performed with the Senior band, playing euphonium. They had a long and energetic applause to "Pirates of the Caribbean". Annie performed with the MS ensemble, made up of seven girls who sang Scarborough Fair and Somewhere Out There.

Monay, Jon, Naomi and Marigan were a part of the HS choir that performed three excellent pieces. Santi and Sarah (previously spelled as SeRa) are a part of the Intermediate band with Sarah on clarinet and Santi on trombone. Eric is our trumpeteer who plays in the jazz band.

The band leader is from Portage, MB and his daughter was Annie's pen pal long before we moved here. He's a great teacher and musician himself and has challenged the kids in such a positive way that the band room has kids practicing after hours to "make perfect".
