Our small group follow up program to Spiritual Emphasis Week is called Chat Rooms. I lead one every Sunday afternoon for Annie, Beth, Bethany and Khalie. I have dubbed them the "rabbit trail" girls because they can take a question I ask and go wild with it. We end up in some completely unknown universe when they hop from one idea to another. And the ideas don't need to necessarily relate to each other I've learned. For example, talking about water might take us to the thought of swimming or to the latest movie or to something funny someone said in class or to goosebumps on someone's arm. I guess that's just how the minds of thirteen year old girls work!! We are actually having a great time together, as you can see, and the girls are very willing to share thoughts about their spiritual journeys and to pray for each other.

It brought a tear to my eye, as I so miss Annie and our small group from this past year. Isn't it neat to see God at work in their lives though. At the end of the rabbit trail there is always something neat to think on from the spiritual side!!
Keep on being an example to them.
