Is great: the ocean view from the porch

Is not so great: the fact that the sewage from the island drains directly into the ocean so swimming is not highly recommended

We miss: decent, sturdy hangers for our clothes and especially hangers for skirts and pants

We don't miss: taking up closet space storing winter clothes

Is convenient about Canadian living: debit transactions (not yet available here)

Is convenient about Malaysian living: cheap food everywhere

We like: no road rage despite the crazy traffic patterns

We don't like: parking the long, no-power-steering van in small car spaces

Is strange: no rhyme or reason to the organization of grocery store shelves (we found pancake syrup by the barbecue sauce, cake icing and granola bars!)

Is not so strange: a helper who, if you want, will walk through the store with you as an assistant
