We've had rain everyday that we've been here. Some days completely overcast with no sun and some days torrential downpours that come out of nowhere really quickly. Yesterday we were headed to Letchworth State Park for a picnic and sure enough, about half an hour before leaving, the black clouds rolled in and down came the rain in thick sheets. Everyone was soaked running to buses and vans. But, despite the rain, we continued on to the park and just after eating under a pavilion, the rain quit and the sun broke through. Then we had a great time after that going on hikes, playing frisbee and just hanging out with our new friends.
This is definitely a place that could be described as "wait five minutes and the weather will change." If I were a betting person, I'd put money down that we'll have rain today.
