One month from today, I turn ... 40. YIKES! How can that be? In my mind, I'm still 24 and energetic and carefree. (Note to self: You can't be 24 because your son, who is almost 15, will be driving in less than two months; you've been married five months short of 20 years; you have grey hair and achy knees.)
As the evidence points out, I am closing in on 40 - my poor mind is completely deceived.

Happy Early Birthday Shauna!! And I don't think of you as old...you are only as old as you feel (so "they" say - whoever they is). I'm having issues turning 30 this year (in 6 months)...
Hey thanks Kelle! I wonder why it is we get so wrapped up in the big "0" birthdays. 30 wasn't bad for me but if the next ten years go as quickly as the last ten, in the blink of an eye I'll be 50!! :)
